The Mayor of the Commune and City of Nisko cordially invites you to the upcoming conference regarding the ongoing project, which aims to improve the quality of life of the residents of our commune. On July 13, 2023, the Social Council for Accessibility was inaugurated in our municipality. The aim of the Council is to support the Mayor in the implementation of projects that increase the accessibility of public infrastructure and services for people with disabilities, the elderly or people at risk of social exclusion.

1 On July 1 and 2, 2023, the XIII Regatta on the Podwolin Reservoir in Nisko took place. Traditionally, the Nisko Yacht Club began its welcome to summer with a sailors' competition and a shanty music concert. This year's edition of the regatta took place during a large cultural and recreational event Welcoming the Summer LetNisko, which was organized by: the Nizhany Cultural Center "Sokół", the Municipality and Town Office in Nisko and the Sailing Association Yacht Club Nisko. 30 participants took part in the regatta. In the OPEN class the first place was taken by the crew composed of: Robert Stec (helmsman), Bartek Marki, Paweł Sygnarski (Omega Sport), second place: Tomek Tęcza (helmsman), Oliwia Skrzypek ("420"), third place Kamil Gorczyca (helmsman), Szymon Śledziński, Eugeniusz Kasprzyk (Omega Standard). In the OPTIMIST class the first place was taken by Ola Stec, the second place by Martyna Partyka and the third by Maciek Urban. In the OMEGA class, the first place was taken by the crew: Robert Dec, Oliwia Skrzypek, Tomasz Tęcza, the second place Kamil Gorczyca, Bartek Marki, Paweł Sygnarski and the third place Daniel Bylicki, Szymon Śledziński and Janek Dąbrowski.

In the last week of June, representatives of the Municipality and the City of Nisko participated in a study visit to the Municipality of Midt – Telemark in Norway. The visit was a continuation of the cooperation established with the Partner from Norway as part of a project co-financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism.
