We are pleased to announce that the workshops carried out as part of the "LOW AND HIGHER" project were held successfully! We would like to thank everyone for their commitment and active participation in the creation of the multimedia application "Low Timeless Value". The animation meeting took place on December 1, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Nizhany Center for History and Tradition.

On October 18-22, 2023, the third study visit for representatives of Midt-Telemark in Niska was organized. The visit, like the previous visit to Midt-Telemark, was devoted to the subject of building an interesting leisure offer tailored to the needs of the residents. The visit was combined with the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the granting of city rights to Niska.

The third study visit to Midt-Telemark was devoted to the subject of building a leisure offer for residents in a way that meets the needs of residents and encourages new residents of the municipality and the city to settle down. The exchange of experiences concerned the leisure zone, recreation, culture and sport, i.e. the key areas that shape the leisure offer in the city.

From 22 to 26 September 2023, representatives of the Municipality and the City of Nisko participated in the third study visit to Midt – Telemark, this time due to the subject matter, the meeting was attended by representatives of NCK "Sokół" in Nisko, the Municipal Public Library, the Municipal Council of Seniors, the Municipality Office and the City of Nisko, as well as members of the project team. The visit was attended by 12 representatives of the Municipality and the City of Nisko.

On 19 October, NCHiT hosted a workshop for NGOs on regional and traditional products. At the meeting, it was possible to find out what are the procedures for submitting an application and registering a given product. There were also practical exercises on filling out the application. The training was attended by ladies from local farmers' wives' clubs, local entrepreneurs and members of associations, and the trainer was Mr. Jerzy Nogal – a photojournalist, passionate about cooking and local flavors. The workshops were co-financed by the Norway Grants, which aim to reduce economic and social disparities and develop entrepreneurship. The organizer of the event was the Municipal Public Library in Nisko.

Uniwersytet Seniora

On October 17, the next in the series of meetings of the Senior University was held. This time we talked about new technologies.
At the beginning, the structure and functions of smartphones were discussed, and then applications such as M-citizen and the Online Patient Account were discussed and installed.
After a coffee break, communicators and social media that can be used (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Messenger and others) were discussed, and at the end dating sites such as Tinder, Badoo, Facebook Dating, Eharmony were introduced.
The meeting was chaired by Grzegorz Niemiec and took place in the Nizhany Center of History and Tradition.
 

Konferencja projektowa

On 19.10.2023, the Second Project Conference summarizing the project was held at the Nizhany Cultural Center "Sokol". This unique event was the culmination of our joint activities and was aimed at presenting our achievements, new initiatives and plans for the future. The conference was an excellent opportunity to share with the residents information about the aims, scope and benefits of the project.

Developing social awareness is a key element of the success of any venture. During the conference, we presented the project's achievements, highlighting key milestones and results. The open discussion allowed us to share experiences and identify areas for further development. The conference was a great opportunity to thank the partners for their commitment and support. Working together with institutions, companies and the local community was the foundation of the project's success.

The conference ended with an open session, during which residents had the opportunity to ask questions and express their opinions. This is an important element of transparency and a democratic approach to project management. Our Partner Municipality MIDT-TELEMARK was invited to the conference. Representatives of the municipality of Midt-Telemark honoured us with their presence.
