On November 7-10, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives of the Midt-Telemark Commune from Norway. The visit was carried out in connection with the partnership agreement concluded between our communes as part of the project "Nisko higher and higher - increasing the economical potential of the city and the competitiveness of life in the city ", financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014 - 2021.
The purpose of the established cooperation with the Municipality of Midt - Telemark is to share knowledge and experience in three areas of cooperation:
- Quality and methods of education in the knowledge-based economy;
- Supporting of entrepreneurship;
- Development of the city's offer.
The first visit was devoted to topics related to education focused on key competences.The organization of the visit included a series of lectures and joint discussions, as well as a visit to local schools in the city. On the first day, challenges related to the education of students at the high school level were discussed, combined with a visit to the Secondary School in Nisko and Regional Vocational Education Center.
On the second day, the principles of modern education in primary education were discussed. After a series of discussions, guests from Norway could get acquainted with the educational base in the city by visiting the School and Kindergarten Complex No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 in Nisko and PSP No. 3 in Nisko.
