Dear Residents of Our Commune,
It is with great pleasure that we would like to share with you the results and extensive experience gained during the "Nisko coraz wyżej..." conference held on April 12, 2024, which was a summary of the project financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism. This event was a unique opportunity to jointly reflect on achievements, exchange good practices and discuss the future of our city.
During the conference, which took place at NCK Sokół, we had the honor to host representatives of key project partners, such as Niżański County, the Municipal Public Library in Nisko, NCK "Sokół", the Norwegian commune of Midt Telemark and the Yacht Club. Their involvement in the project contributed to achieving many important results.
Mr. Tomasz Podkański, Director of the ZMP Office, appeared on stage and emphasized the importance of partnership for the development of small and medium-sized cities and the use of model solutions and the promotion of good practices as key elements of the project's success..
Our invited guests, including the President of Zawiercie Łukasz Konarski, Deputy Mayor of Hrubieszów Paweł Wojciechowski and Mrs. Arletta Siwek representing the city of Stalowa Wola, presented their own development paths and good practices in the field of projects implemented in their cities, which was an inspiring example for our region.
In addition to the project partners, the conference was also attended by many other important participants, including representatives of the 4 established social councils, Rural Women's Associations and non-governmental organizations that played an important role in the project implementation process and who actively participated in the discussion on the future of our community.
We cannot forget about our most important beneficiaries - the residents of our community who are the direct recipients of the project.
The event ended with a heated debate moderated by Krzysztof Markiel and Marek Gabzdyl, ZMP advisors, with participants: Mr. Waldemar Ślusarczyk, Mayor of the Commune and City of Nisko, Ms. Dorota Mizak, representative of the Expert Council for Entrepreneurship, Mr. Rafał Marchut, Chairman of the Accessibility Council, Ms. Małgorzata Tabian, the School Principal, the Director of NCK Sokół Radosław Maziarz and the teacher Mr. Krzysztof Śnieżek, representative of the Secondary School in Nisko, made a valuable contribution to the discussion on the future of our city in the context of the implemented project and its importance for socio-economic development.
Mayor Waldemar Ślusarczyk strongly emphasized that the project financed by the Norwegian Financial Mechanism has become an important element of the development of our commune and city. Thanks to it, we had the opportunity to implement innovative solutions that have real potential to counteract key problems and challenges in our community. This is not only an opportunity, but also a specific response to the needs of our residents and an opportunity to build a better future for our region. The project coordinator is Krzysztof Haliniak
